Good post. It is so rare to read something that is accurate and makes sense about the Israeli/Palestinian tribal shootout over land.

That we are mixed up in this quarrel is a testament to the weakness and stupidity of our own leadership.

By the way, as an aside to the Zionist ranters out there, while the one sided support we are giving Israel is bad for us, in my opinion our support is shaping up to be catastrophic for the Israeli. It has allowed the most radical element in Israel, the settler movement, to operate with a free hand. This has weakened Israel morally, and is storing up huge problems for the future, for the simple reason that the degree of support we give is unnatural, and cannot last. When someday our own interests finally come to the fore, and we pull back, Israel is going to be naked before her enemies, the which she will have many of, precisely because our support of her has allowed her to act with great dishonesty and brutality.

It is a curious thing isn't it that the Iraqi government is making kissy face with the Iranian government. Now will the US try and mess that relationship up?

What will the Iraqi government do if Iran is bombed by the US?

Curious. Strange. Meddling.

Get rid of the SUV, walk, ride a bike, think windmills...we need to have our interests outta that part of the world.
