I don't - but being exposed to a theory in no way means it's true, that's why they are called theories. The fact is ID is a semi-popular/modern theory of our times and students should be familiar with the theory - to be kept ignorant is not the same thing as being educated.

I'm sorry. I see it as a religious 'theory' that should be taught in a church environment and not a secular one.

that's why they are called theories.
Theories have to explain the known facts, and predict new ones to be called theories. Otherwise they are just wild-assed guesses.
