=======Actually, it is headed down the path of being much worse. If Exxon's calculations are correct then we need ME oil in the future more than we need it now. That's the near future, the end of this decade.

Fighting against those who have oil makes a great deal of sense in the insane and upside down bubble of George Bush. If it turns out that SA's oil reserves are lower than they admit to or damaged beyond repair, then the situation gets even worse.

Vietnam, regardless of all the yammering about dominoes, never had that effect on the world. Geez, we were so afraid of Communist China and then it morphed into WalMart (insert Howard Dean scream here) and assaulted us with cheap junk.
