They did very little on it, compared to the extent of Wilson's lies. The Senate committee detailed Wilson's lies well. Ah, we do this every time one or the other of us gets close to the Plame/Wilson/Rove/Novak business. The Senate committee report was written by the majority staff, i.e., the Republicans, under the very strict tutelage of Roberts. And dumbly signed on by Rockefeller. About whom little favorable should be said at this point. To call all that bipartisan is to stretch a term beyond its meanings. The CIA dump on the WH was a left wing attack. I had forgotten, again, that you considered all critical comments vis a vis the Bushies as "left wing attacks" so you could dismiss them. My bad. When we get to the point that CIA criticisms of the Bushies are written as "left wing attacks", we've moved into a zone that has something beyond little meaning. If they get anybody at the WH, it will be Libby. And it will be for perjury to the investigator, not for the "crime" being investigated. There you go again, getting way out ahead of the investigation. My point is that, regardless of the investigation, and I don't have much hope there because if it is serious and finds things, Fitzgerald's new boss will put a stop to it, there will be some of the best insider accounts ever written of the Cheney folk within the administration "fixing" the intelligence, not finding wmds, and then trying to "fix" the critique. I can just imagine their frenetic activities around that time. The MSM media filings with the court on Cooper/Miller are filled with the belief that Plame was not undercover. Right wing hooha. The CIA filed a complaint with the Justice Department. That's all we need to know. The rest is smoke and mirrors.
