It seems to be that there are secrets that you can't tell anybody who is not a Mason, but that doesn't make sense because the only secrets you can't keep from the priests are sins It's probably because of the Rites. Masons are similar to Rosicruceans and other "magic" secret societies, many based on Jewish mysticism - tree of life, etc. Lots of interesting study there for someone curious about religious belief and practice. Yeats, for example, was a founding member of the Golden Dawn. Derek

how about it would make him a fallen catholic? a menu catholic like so many today.( includes some democrat senators) I know of few Catholics who joined Mason order years ago. Why, because if you were not a mason back in mid to late fifties or early 60's you didn't move up the corp ladder where i worked. I was told i couldn't get promoted because i belonged to kofc and wasn't a mason. Being very young i blew it off as nonsense since i had never experienced prejudice. (besides i held the lowest job group in company and couldn't go any lower) boy was that a long time ago. amazing how fast the society changed in the sixties.
