That pesticide will be long gone before harvest.

The beans are crushed into oil and meal. Some is used as animal food and some goes into people food. BTW, back in the 60s and 70s, Agent Orange was sprayed on beans right at harvest. People who ate tofu back then were eating Agent Orange. Yum.
