I am not defending western-hating Muslims. I have been over there and I don't like them. But I also don't want to give them any of my money for gasoline, nor even have to see them.

However, the fact remains that a careful study shows almost all Islamic terrorism results from our military occupying one or more of their lands. Including 9-11 which Osama claims was in response to us having military bases in Saudi Arabia.

So if we don't want terrorism, let's get the hell out of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Why do we need to be there anyway? I'll bet if we pulled out Al Qaida would collapse. Or just focus on Israel. Which is also occupying an Arab land. At least in part.

Islam preys on beaten down peoples. Then again, evangelical Christianity preys on gullible and hopeless people. In a sense all religions do, more or less. I'm spiritual, but frankly I don't trust any organized religion, especially when it's mixed with government. From the evidence I see, they all have positive sides but also corrupt sides. So in a sense they're all equal, though some are obviously more repression and others more liberal. That said, I do go to church occasionally and try to get some spiritual healing out of it. Anyway, the point is maybe we caused the terrorism, inadvertently or not.
