The Book of Acts was not quoted before 177 CE. Justin Martyr seems to have no knowledge of it although a generation later Iraneus regards it as holy scripture. It was probably written between 150 and 177.

The fact that Acts does not mention Paul's death is not evidence of when it was written. In fact Acts completely contradicts the testimony of Paul in his letter to the Galatians.

The Gospel writers make direct and convincing claims to be exactly that; eyewitness accounts.

We will have to agree to disagree on that.

I've seen you present the direct evidence. I have not seen you present why it is convincing. Do you care to show that? That is to build some form of objective reasoning as to why that phrase should be trusted by someone who is a non-believer.
