Thinking on about all of our old posts Doug, and the fact that Ann brought up that old memo, I'm really sorry that we have lost so much of it due to my own computer crashing and that worthless clown wiping out all the pre 42,000 Raging bull postings! Golly, could we have had some fun with that one Doug? The effing chicken sheits!

Anyway, it got me to thinking about how excited we all were in the beginning, you know where Jim and those other guys such as that fellow from Alberta, ha! CIMA!!! Actually, I did very well on some of his recs, particularly on his apparent expertise on Russian stocks. And, I believe he was a school teacher up there too. He was the other one with Jim who was trying to organize the shareholders trip to Bolivia as well. We also had a "what to do with all our MINE winnings" thread as well, haha! I wonder what happened to that? Also, I wonder what happened to Tom Anders; he was our resident geologist you know, and I seem to remember he got involved somehow with our foes haha, Sun River?

To your question:
<<How much longer do you predict??>>
The carrot's still there in Roy Shipes, but I won't be holding my breath, I can tell you that Doug! Also, he was involved in Bolivia before with Atlas at the Arisur which eventually folded, so I really can't say.
Take care,
Robert

For you, oldie moldie posts. 20-20 hindsight. CIMA starts to get the picture. He figures out that this might be a Bre-X type situation, too good to be true, and sells when MINE hits $1.00 plus, quitting his day job and moving on. He had private placement shares, cheap shares.

To All,
Quite a time back, I read some SEC filings on this company, and correct me if I'm wrong, but this used to be a fly by night finance company that was on the verge of bankruptcy before the "big gold find". It was ran by a husband and wife team and was forever in trouble with nonfiling of required SEC reports. I haven't kept up with recent doings, but one thing I have learned is that above ALL other considerations, management integrity must be pristine. I'm afraid this smacks of a con game along the same lines of International Precious Metals or other small time scams. Good Luck

But you raise a good point. I thought this was taken over as a shell by Ron and Mary. Was this Ron and Mary's financial company before turning to gold mining? Doug, Eric, Brian, et al, what is the story on this? Just looking to fill in a few more historical holes.

P.S. Brian, I agree that the situation is much different today but Brent is right 95% of the time.

CIMA,
your question is right on, this was a shell company for Ron's financial company. Everyone must remember that this is Ron Knittles company, not Mary's or Terry's. Officially, It is Mary's and officially Terry is the President, but Ron still runs the show from his home office.

He put everything in Mary's name so his ex-wives could not get any of it. Also because of the legal problems he has had time and again.

Ron is a sweet talker (even though he never returns or takes phone calls), which is how they worked their way into Bolivia.

GE has overcome alot of obstacles. If you speak with them they will tell you God wants them to be successful. I am impressed with their desire to improve the lifestyle of the people in Bolivia. I hope it's not all PR.

Ask Ron what he plans to do with the Gold? I know he doesn't plan on selling most of it, or releasing it into the market. How will this effect the share price?

Ah, the history of GE, what a story. Should be told.

Sabrina has said that, once all this is over and we're rolling around with our riches, GE should hold one hell of a party at a hall in Denver for the shareholders ( I was thinking Cangalli, but the accommodations could be a little tight). I like the management of this company. I think they're honest people and are trying their damnedest to make this happen. But for the life of me, I don't understand why they keep establishing deadlines or creating expectations around dates when it's out of their control whether they can be met or not. After all, it's all up to Guido, and he's an independent hired by management. Why don't they say "we hope to have the report available in the next few months, contact Guy or Sabrina for updates." This would remove the doubts about the competency of management that these continual delays, based on previous management statements, create.

This one is a blast from the past...from someone who called Murrel during the SEC action.

MINE - I just talked with IR.
I called Guy Murrel at home, he was cutting his grass.
Please don't do the same, I will relay all the information he gave me. He said he will answer all questions he can if you
want to call tomorrow. However, he is not a mining expert.
Here are some points:
1. float is about 28,000,000
2. Mary Ericksons family has invested 3 million in the company
and has restricted shares. They have no interest in diluting shares.
3. Terry Turner has no shares, will be compensated in shares later.
He is not even salaried.
4. About 54,000,000 shares are restricted.
5. Terry first learned about the results of Guido's report Thursday
and he was stunned. Much higher than he thought.
6. 32 million ounces of gold have come from the area since the Inca's.
7. Guido's report will be translated and put on the website in 1 or 2 weeks. It is a high priority of the company to get the
information confirmed and out to investors.
8. The recent SEC news does relate to events of 2 years ago.
9. They have done 3000 assays in 2 years, and have obtain a
drill for further testing.
10. Open pit mining is the method they will be using. An independent
consultant Don Hausen confirmed that that method will work.
11. Guido has no financial interest in MINE. The same is true
of the London firm that did the testing.
12. It is true that there is alot that is needed to get production moving.
A joint venture is definitely being looked into as a possibility.
