Haq :"The argument of preventing over crowding of an animal specie is a farce."

Thanks, however I would point out that we are overrun with deer where I am. Car crashes, ticks with Lyme, vegatation stripped denying other species cover and food are some results. The park near where I live has big wire enclousers that deer can not get into in order to show people the effects of deer overcrowding. When the vegatation inside is better looking then whats outside, you gotta thin the herd(s). The cheapest and easiest way to deal with it is to simply allow hunting. You can charge the hunters a fee.
I still think your wrong to make value judgements about hunting though. Everyone should be exposed to it at some point. Too many nowadays think milk comes from a bottle; buying meat packaged in a supermarket is a safe way of not realizing how things work.
I too prefer that you eat what you kill. However, I can not fault those who donate their excess harvest to others and to charity which many do.
Hunting can also be hard work especially if your a bow hunter. If you look at the number of licenses issued for deer hunters in a state like Pa Vs. the # of deer taken, you will realize that a lot of people wasted a lot of their time and money.
