Well, the Israeli pullout is a step in the right direction. Like it or not, the Shi'a have really pulled themselves together from Iran and Iraq, Lebanon, and the occupied territories of Palestine. I wish that we could get a more direct response from Islamic clerics about the substance of new fatwas regarding Israeli citizens. With Gaza and West Bank being restored to the Palestinians, will Islam cease to keep labelling Jews as soldiers in an occupied Islamic territory against whom suicide bombing is encouraged? Hamas and Hezbelloh aren't the salafi freaks being indoctrinated out of Saudi extremist traditions. They are fundamental Shiites trying to restore dignity and respect for their Shiite culture.

"Personally I think Israel should either give Gaza back to Egypt or just keep it. BUT, it should connect Golan to the West Bank and carve out a narrow strip along Lebanon to the sea so that Palestinians have access to the sea as well."

Sun,
You are asking israel to do things you deplore in other posts. Making unilateral decisions regarding Golan, Lebanon, Gaza, etc. Be fair now. mike
