I didn't migrate that table.

That'll learn ya to trash pre-existing info whose value you don't yet grok.

Lesson number one for my fine photo printing students, starting decades ago: if you can't print a keeper image now because of exposure or some other damage problems, don't trash it, software will catch up, later. Now I get thanks calls about how they were about to trash a valuable damaged image back then, a fixed hit today.

SI Bob, here's a simpler issue

'SI Ignore' doesn't work in readreplies.aspx ... or isn't coded to do so there.

Well, off the top of my head I can think of two solutions. The "right" solution is to add a field that has a "replies-to" field that holds row-id (or other key) to the table in which each field is a message-id of the reply. If this field is null, then system operates as is. Otherwise a join operation is needed.

The other solution is based on pragmatism. It is not as "proper" but should work. I cannot think of any situation that one would want to answer to more than 3 people, so let's build an extra margin and set the limit of the number of people to answer to as 5. Then instead of having only one reply-to field in the db, you'll have 5 and the system should work more or less as it does now.
