Buddha is dead and gone and his bones were fought over and divided up by his disciples. Jesus rose from the dead physically, thereby validating what he said about those who came before him (like Buddha) that they were false teachers and wolves.

Other than that they were very similar?????

Not only does Paul not mention the miracles reported in Luke and Matthew, the life of Jesus played no part in Paul's Christianity. His letters say nothing about an historical Jesus. He is only concerned with the resurrected Christ, the resurrection being a spiritual, not a physical event.
