When something BIG is needed Congress tends to move in baby steps. Maybe its because they lack the intelligence as a group to comprehend big steps? The energy bill has some good things in it, it also has a lot of smoke and mirrors. I believe though its heading us in the right direction, the question is, is it moving FAST enough. While I believe the future must hold alternative energy sources, that is the future, today is now. I believe they should have opened up the SMALL area of the artic for oil exploration, in fact, for now we ought to be able to drill ANYWHERE we can find oil so long as its done responsibly with minimal environmental impact. They way it stands now, a dinky nation like Venzulala (sp?) run by a tin pot dictator is in a position to put a hurtin on Mighty America and its all of our own doing. jdn

This does not surprise me.

The talk guy is one of a few liberals with a radio show in Seattle.

I listened for awhile today and he and a caller were discussing the next presidential election and both dissed Hillary for her waffling on issues.

Neither one thought she could get elected. (gosh I had to smile ;)

In typical fashion, they are eating their own.
