<<Upper middle class housing at USD 2,500 per square foot,>>
Here in Texas, it's closer to US$50-100/sq ft, you have no neighbors over your ceiling, and you can trade your balcony for a yard. I keep thinking there must be a way to ship this overseas and have some profit left over after the freight charges.
But then, I always thought those bulbs tasted close enough to onions.

1 sq foot=0.09 Square Metres. 0.09m2 for $2.5K in HK? You can get upper middle class for $1.500 /m2 (not sq foot) in Curitiba.

Whenever I see inflated prices I translate: Imobility. If population were mobile, they'd vote with their feet. Cash in on the property and would levae. This way prcies would come down.
