I don't know about that Promis or other conspiracy theories. I think a lot of the conspiracy/manipulation theories I read about on SI, stem from people not understanding how the financial markets work. So there has to be a thunder god or whatever to cause the things they don't understand. (The Fed does provide extra credit it seems when it thinks there are problems in the financial markets which has the effect of pushing them up).

But OTOH first Rumsfeld and now Bush are threatening Iran. And this Jones guy jumping up and down about this nuclear conspiracy. And tomorrow is the traditional day of doom (which strangely I only recently realized is 9/11 when applying European notation to the Hebrew Calendar). Oops, I'm sounding as paranoid as everyone else :)

BTW it has been all Asian markets receiving big inflows of new funds since the Chinese revaluation. Including the second biggest (Australia) it seems.
