As unlikely as it may sound I had a 1984 Bronco II with 245 on it with on change of an aluminum head. I gave it to my brother who drove for 2 years, I don't know the milage now, but he took it off the road when I gave him an old 1986 IZUZU pick-up.

The IZUZU runs great but the steel was incredibly suseptable to corrosion. I mean as if it were made to oxidize. He took it because the pickup suited his small mason jobs. He needed to have supports welded on several parts of the frame. It had only 56K on it, but rotted like it was dumped in the bay for years.
