There is an original copy of the copyrighted book, Joseph Smith plagiarized to create the book of Mormon, in the Bancroft Library on the UC Berkeley campus. The Mormon Church has offered UC Berkeley fantastic sums to purchase the book, for safekeeping in their collection, wink, wink, say no more. The copyright on the book is something like 10 years before "the angel Moroni gave the book of Mormon to Joseph Smith on a pile of gold tablets". The Grand Jury testimony of Joseph Smith and his associates in Missouri is pretty fun reading as well, as they perjur themselves trying to keep their story straight. .
