We haven't started a civil war. The people trying to start a civil war are the folks we're fighting. We removed a brutal dictatorship. Granted that made a civil war possible but I think it's moral nonsense to think dictatorships so brutal they suppress everything are good. If a civil war in Iraq develops it seems it will be the Sunni Arabs against the Shia and Kurds. It doesn't sound like a good idea for 20% of a nation to start a civil war against the other 80% to me but they may have to learn that the hard way.
