No, they're not seriously ridiculous.

Liberals think Gates is rich because he was "lucky", therefore you want to take some of his rewards and give them to the janitor that wasn't "lucky".

Per usual, you are putting words into people's mouths. You do this desperately in order to defend what, in reality, is indefensible. Its why its not worth arguing with you.
