Seems hypocritical to me

But a natural reaction though. It a load that must be carried if you are emotionally judgmental I expect.

Anyhow, I am always upbeat on AMD's prospects. I just like the company and the way they do things.

The stock price however is something completely different. There are two factors I consider important.

(1) Intel. Lots of clout in the financial sector.

(2) Wall Street. Even if an excellent company has a rosy future with a good bottom line, it still does not mean that the sharks on Wall Street will not manipulate the stock price. AMD's stock price has already seen a healthy appreciation. A possible quicksand mire for new investors.

There is also (3) the inter reaction between these two primary factors of course :-)
