CB, I guess if I had left that sentence out - would you have agreed with the rest of the post? And Yes - some self styled conservatives do hate non-whites etc. David Duke among them. But that doesn't make you or me a member of the KKK anymore than JohnM's liberal views make him Pol Pot. However, we were discussing the reactionary way that 'leftist' faculty are responding when Pipes or anyone else who dares question their values. When Professor Nicholas De Genova called for a million Mogadishu's and stated that "The only true heroes are those who find ways that help defeat the U.S. military", was this dissent in your opinion? To me it sounds an awful lot like yelling 'fire' in a theatre. John
