John,

Let's focus on your comment to Tenchusatsu and his post that discussed income.

Do you have the ability to be polite to him irregardless of his income level? Or, is your kindness only reserved for certain groups of people such as teachers and nurses, who certainly deserve kindness, but not exclusively so.

Your reaction was provoked by his comment about income, so why don't we look at the information.

Please do provide the available cash that an engineer would have compared to a teacher in California. Be sure to include the housing subsidy, public pension, 25% discounts at stores, 20% BMR discounts for housing, health insurance, LTC, summer vacation of a teacher vs over-time of an engineer, and when you get done, please let us know what the cash available is compared to the cash available of your typical engineer in California. Please post numerical information and ask Tenchusatsu for help if you have any questions on the cost of living in California before emotionally attacking him. Btw, school teachers earn $45k in the Bay Area, not $20k.

Wouldn't it make better sense to discuss facts first.

Please list out the above items and factually analyze them, rather than attacking him.

Regards,
Amy J
