Hi Charles Tutt

Remember you from the SUNW board----actually your board.

I am asking for a very specific reason.

First let me suggest that you go to the SGI board's----two-- the old board and the one I moderate. This will explain what is going with SGI at this time.

SGI has hired Alix Partners to work with them on making SGI profitable. We investors of course know that there is always the possibility of other events coming into play.

One of these is constant speculation about who would buy SGI and who would SGI sell to---------SGI does have a poison pill to prevent unfriendly takeovers.

IBM is one of the ones that gets mentioned periodically as well as SUNW on the board you write on as a suitor for SGI.

Thus I am wondering if the buyback could position IBM to use the stock bought back to acquire various companies including SGI.
