Joe, I think that if Bill Gates were to be a janitor, he would still drive liberals crazy by becoming Roger Wilco...

People who aren't familiar with the "Space Quest" series of video games will never get that joke.

THOSE were the "good old days." ;-)

I made a reasonable extension of the socialist comments that Gates shouldn't be paid a lot more than a janitor.

I think that if Bill Gates were to be a janitor, he would still drive liberals crazy by becoming Roger Wilco...

Maybe not............if his father beat his mother and left her when he was 6 and he had dyslexia and dropped out of school when he was 14 and his mother turned to drugs to ease her pain. Being janitor is the best job he's had in ten years of work. Life is not an equal opportunity generator and not all people grow up with the same advantages.

And all those stories about people overcoming the odds are really far and few between but you hold onto them like a miser holds onto his first dollar because they so fit your spin that anyone can make it in America. It ain't true.......never was, never will be. Just more myth based Americana.
