Ted, Huh? The EU's population is 50% greater than the US but consumes 33% less oil, and you think that the EU and the US are in the same league??? Given the above statistics, I would suggest the US is in a league of its own. Ok Ted, I understand that you would like the US have the oil consumption and corresponding GDP per person to be somewhere between Sierra Leone and Tanzania, you have to understand that you are in a minority. Other than that, I could point you to re-read my post, but I would probably feel bad about making you worry your pretty little head with all the numbers and the funny sign like this: % behind them.
