Mish:

The short answer is yes I raise my prices. Yes it covers my increased costs. The issue I have with "deflation argument" is that the costs that really matter to small business and personal budgets are going up. The fact that electronics and semiconductors, communications etc is getting cheaper is far outweighed by the other costs going up.

Let me ask the deflation protagonists a question. Do you spend more on energy or electronics ? Do you spend more on medical (insurance and expenses) then on cars ? Do you spend more on education (college tuition) etc then on communications ? and finally, do you think medical costs are going down. ie more medical treatment etc for less dollars ? Do you see education costs decreasing ?
