You're missing the point ... for the kids who are having first love, first sex, first breakup, first time leaving home, going to college ... Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and Eminem are the defining point of 'real music'. In 2025-30, when they're 40-50, they're gonna be on this very thread saying, "Today's music sucks. 'Real music' was back in 2005." Your certainty that they won't be remembered is merely a reflection that ... like I said 20 posts ago ... you're not 18 anymore.
