Yep, they have taken full advantage of their non-technical
lead, with Intel, bearing in mind that they have no technology
to differentiate them from the competition.

Their leading products , built on and emulating the Intel
SOC, have one-half the useable bandwidth as the competition,
which lags somewhat.
IE the Intel SOC maxes out at 10mhz
bandwidth, while the Fujitsu SOC maxes out at 20 mhz.

Their initial Wi-Max-like product has a BW of 3.5 MHZ,
largely because of internal DSP limitations...

while others have a BW of 7.0 MHZ, meaning that total
throughput for Alvarion is one half that of the competition.

How long will they be able to take advantage of this leading
relationship ?
