I worked in industry most of my life and now I trade stocks, among other things. And really, what are you doing here in my country? <g> In one post you show contempt for your own fellow Indians who happen to outrank you in your home country. Then in another post you express dissatisfaction with your new neighbors in a different part of your country. You besmirch your countrymen for being too "English" to suit you. Now you come half way around the world to my country and from your posts you have contempt for us also. Seems to me you are in danger of becoming that most pitiful of creatures, "a man without a country". There are many immigrants who come here and love this place so much that they become really more "American" than the native born in short order and will fight anyone, especially another immigrant, who has the nerve to say anything unkind about their new home. I know a bunch who are like that, very common among Filipinos but I know East Indians who are the same way. Then there are some like you, but I guess there is a pattern there as I see clearly that you have similar ideas about your own countrymen in your own country. There are a lot of really weird things going on in this country these days, the worst I have ever seen, even more dangerous than back during the cold war. Now we know for a fact that we really did have a bunch of extremely close calls with the itchy finger and the nuclear button back then. Too close for comfort. I have the feeling that things may be even more dangerous right now. We are just a single nuclear detonation on American soil away from a situation where any lack of enthusiasm what so ever for all things American, especially on the part of a resident alien, could be a fatal shortcoming.
