Kinda sobering to think what those little pink houses in Californee are really worth (at least as shelter)..... Geez, only a few Nasdaq stocks went from 90 to 1.70 or so (the price differential percentage wise between the 900K Cali bungalow and the 17K Danville equivalent); maybe this is the counter argument to "in the housing arena, at least yer buying bricks and mortar!"<G> One other plus about the Danville place is that Danville is only about 35 miles outside of Champaign-Urbana (you know, where Mark Andreesen went to school). Some Tech giant oughta move there from sili valley, they'd save/make a bundle on the real estate alone....
