You really swallow the Bush-Cheney BS hook, line and sinker. Don't you realize they've changed their reasons for invading Iraq 57 times? But they still haven't told us the truth, that it was mainly about enriching their oil cronies. What other reason remains now that all the others have been disproven? Saddam has never attacked the US. At least there's no soilid evidence linking him to any attack. As for the theory that Saddam tried to kill then EX-president Bush, not only did Clinton retaliate for that rumor with a huge bombing barrage, but the rumor was never proven and there is no evidence it happened. Read this. newyorker.com I repeat, Saddam has probably never attacked us except in self-defense. Not that I'm sympathizing with him, but Saddam was never an imminent threat and Bush strangely all but ignored Osama and Al Qaida after OBL was allowed to escape at Tora Bora. Just strange. Makes no sense except for the oil money and maybe swiping the midterm elections.
