Columbians or some other drug mafia would send someone over to take out whoever suggested legalization.

on the contrary, just make them participants of the NEW growth industry... imagine, we would also save on foreign aid as the colombian (coke) farmer would be elevated to the likes of Juan Valdez... *which, btw is in the drug business as well, such as coffee* in addition, no more drug wars, the resources of the 'war' can be redirected to education and so on....

i do not understand what is the uproar about all these drug-addicts, they do it anyway, so why not just tax it, supervise it, and control it... everyone wins...

i mean why hit your head against the wall, (when you can use the door to get to the other side no ?)

religion man... [and politicians(*)] those are the real culprits of all that ails humanity... like good ole mencken said....

"I believe that religion, generally speaking, has been a curse to mankind -that its modest and greatly overestimated services on the ethical side have been more than overcome by the damage it has done to clear and honest thinking."

(*) and economists... these are the sancho panzas of the politicians, they aid and abate the idiocies of politicians, by making them look 'believable' simply because they come up with even more absurd and convoluted theories no one understands (and forecasts more wrong than the weatherman's)

small wonder the economies of the world are all f**-up, you have politicians (who most of them are lawyers), with the advice of economists. the absurd led by the delusionists
