A serious blow has been made to the Gulf states and its will take a long, long time for them to recover. The people are very, very scared. It is a very sad day for America. It's almost beyond comprehension. This isn't about a hurricane, this is about... I don't know, maybe drop everything you are doing and try to help. I've got a bad feeling that it much worse than we imagine... and the dangers in front of these folks, both the locals and the folks that are doing rescue work, are much worse than we know. And then you have this response: As for Katrina, don't you think it's a little early to be predicting an apocolypse on the order of "The Day After Tomorrow"? Our Christian right brothers at work. Thank God we can take care of our own without them. John
