Yes, it is. You are right - we will rise to the occasion and come together. NO will be rebuilt, I assume, but the old charm will be lost. This is devastation we will not (hopefully) see again in our lifetime.

I don't know which of the devastated cities it happened in, but there was a news item about people looting stores for survival stuff like water, food, etc. A Walmart store opened for the desperate people to come in and help themselves to necessities. Thieving looters not welcome. Congrats to that Walmart Manager, he deserves a medal and a promotion with pay raise. The officials are saying with good luck the area may be cleaned up and schools reopened in two months. What if another big hurricane comes through? Normal hurricane season is just ready to begin now!
