Ted, However, Koreatown was not the only section of the city that was vulnerable and unprotected.

Half the stores trashed during the Rodney King riots were Korean-owned. Though that's probably because of the demographics more than any sort of "anti-Korean" conspiracy.

Either way, it's a good thing the chief of police at the time, Darryl Gates, was miles away from the riots attending galas. God forbid anything should have happened to him.
