sheehan is over. NewOrleans is gone and Roberts next week... She ain't going anywhere. The war in Iraq continues. The Mayor of New Orleans has already started his hate Bush rhetoric..."too many cooks in the kitchen" talking about the levee break... He's already got his excuses lined up.... Excuses? Your partisanship is screwing up your brain. He's right.......the levees were breached Sunday nite and Monday morning. Why hasn't the breach been stopped? Bush's excuse......all the helicopters are being used to save people. With the millions of helicopters in this country, Mr. Bush is telling us there are not two available to carry the 3K sandbags that are needed to stem the breach? There are tens of thousands of people in the Superdome living in very squalid conditions with sewers backing up and no potable water. The feds are saying the earliest they can get the people out is Friday. Does that make sense to your partisan mind? Why are the army trucks not used to transport them to Houston or wherever they are sending them? NO is in danger of dysentery, malaria and other fly or mosquito borne diseases from breaking out. The reason those diseases were eradicated was because clean and sanitory public health facilities were installed in the South and everywhere else. In NO, those facilities were gone as of Monday AM. The last thing the feds need is a major breakout of disease in NO......it would spread to LA, MISS, ALA and TX. This is a disaster of horrific proportions and the active brain power of everyone in charge is needed. We're not seeing that yet and the mayor of NO is doing everything he can to get those people moving in the right direction. That is his job. Now do you understand why the mayor is freaking out, partisan one?
