I think both Kerry and McCain were political wimps in the way they responded to Rove's attacks. Political wimpiness has no relationship to military courage: "I don't understand Marshal Murat. Who can you talk about who has enough guts to stand up and say: "I don't believe in sending our young men and women abroad to die and deliver devastation and death to innocent people in the service of American Commerce and the American economic elite. I don't believe in having a Nationa Guard fighting foreign wars and being unavailable for Natural disasters such as we now have in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast area. I don't believe in government for the rich and powerful and NO CONCERN for the common man, the environment, true justice or the country as a whole. I don't believe in a Government that uses secrecy to disguise and cover its actions and prevent them from being understood and observed by all. I don't believe in having Church (any church) being mixed up in Government functions because whatever that Church is it is only the Church of some, and people should be free to pursue ANY religious or Spiritual Path they choose" WHO, man or woman is talking in those sort of terms? All I see are endless political hacks and purchased pols. Forget the party--at this level they are all the same. Namaste! Jim
