If you pay 3 dollars with no or little in tax and we pay 6 dollars with taxes, I guess our taxes should be about 50 %. I don't think there is a big difference in the price ex-pump excluding taxes. The rise in gasoline prices has however not been as dramatic here as in the US, as the falling value of the USD vs. our currency has helped to soften the blow. And as we started from a higher level the increase in per cent compared to a "base" price has not been seen as so dramatic either. Erik
