The one friend I could get through to in New Orleans related to me last night that another friend (who's ok) lives near a Winn-Dixie in an area close to the Mississippi River so not flooded (naturally higher ground).

Anyway, he walked past, saw an NOPD officer sitting outside in uniform, with a shotgun, telling people to go inside and take what they wanted.

Any reporter who wants to confirm this story, I will give the name of the man who saw it.
