mayor being interviewed on WWL radio broadcast on cnn. he is wild about lack of performance. talks about plan to find school buses to take people out. man i got thousands of people command greyhound buses and get buses here! People are dying. send every bus in the country here, now! pumping station. he said they did nothing about it. abandoned the pumping station which was at least keeping most of water back. once they abandoned the pumping station the city flooded. "I flew over the area yesterday nothing has changed. they haven't done a dam thing to stop the flow of water into the city!"

I will tell you,,, it is drug thing , no one talks about it but the city is a flow of drugs and these drug people lost their fix. that is why you see them breaking into drug stores, hospitals etc. they need their fix.. now they got guns too. Did the governor ask for federal troops... I don't know what she asked for but we need thousands of them. what did Bush do for you , has he helped. I will tell you one thing he did do. he sent a general here who when he got off his helo. he let out a bunch of four letters words and things are happening like they never happened until then. We need him in charge of everything.

sending in national guard to stop shootings .. i hope they arm these troops. you cannot expect them to stop gangs without bullets... however, since Chicago shootings in 60's its unlikely these guys go in armed.

Remember the airports none of them were armed.. just a fixture.

My simple reply to that is SHOOT THE BASTARDS. What is wrong with these people that they are afraid to use the weapons the taxpayers supply them with?

It may change.
But so far, I doubt the National Guard has issued ammo.
