The price pattern IMHO is largely there, the volume pattern likewise.... << I'm presuming you've seen my response to Shack. <g> Once again, I'm in the bullish camp. And once again, I hope you'll forgive me for being disloyal! :-) Here's my reasoning: you mentioned volume. I suppose this may be interpreted as FA, but isn't volume traditionally anemic (pretty much across the board) at the end of August? I'd be more inclined to see how volume develops in September. Also, since I believe the major indices are headed up from here (with some small pullbacks (like today) of course), I'm inclined to think GOOG will be headed up along with the market. GOOG has now cleared the 20 SMA and 20 EMA (both now gradually flattening out). RSI and OBV have been strengthening over the past two weeks with the BBs gradually narrowing. I think the upper BB rail will ultimately be pushed open.stockcharts.com [w,a]dfclyyay[db][pb50!b200!d20,2!b20!f][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9!Lk14!Lp14,3,3!Li5,3,3!Lg!Lyb20,2.0]&pref=Gstockcharts.com [w,a]dfclyyay[db][pc20!c20!d20,2!c20!f][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9!Lk14!Lp14,3,3!Li5,3,3!Lg!Lyb20,2.0]&pref=G Additionally, both fast and slow stochastics indicate a technical buy state.139.142.147.19 139.142.147.19 And in the FA dept -- it does seem inevitable that GOOG will be added to the Nasdaq 100 as well as the S&P 500. I know that's off topic for this thread, but I think it's pertinent in terms of GOOG's ability to reach new highs. >>......(and maybe even a bet with Shack...LOL) << This was my favorite part of your post! :-) I think it's high time for another bet, and I think the winner should treat ME to that previously discussed dinner in the Alps! <vbg> (Just kidding -- you're already obligated with your ISRG proceeds! ;-)) Actually, I do enjoy these bets -- especially since I get to watch from the sidelines and have absolutely nothing at stake! <g> So may the best man win -- and let's hope it's Shack! <g> IHSC@ForgiveMeMC.com
