Problem with Duluth may be ships to transport grain out of that port

They used to be the number one port for grain. Totally set up for it. Union problems got the shippers pissed off and they finally went to New Orleans, even though it was a lot longer way to ship.

Right. I spent 3 summers on a boat on the Great Lakes and learned the profiles of the ocean vs fresh water vessels. Actually the lake boats get hit harder in storms than the saltwater boats do. Got to go on a midnight run that shifted pilots from one boat to another. Great adventure for a kid.
