I don't believe I brought this subject up, but when someone else did, I think it is important to note that Bush didn't win the popular vote in 2000, and most probably didn't win in Florida, either. I think our country is still sort of fractured by that election, really. There are lots of bad feelings. It would be nice to just move on, but a lot of people believe Bush's presidency has been a total disaster for America. Personally, I think the Democratic party is not in very good shape, either. There are not enough competent, reasonably charismatic leaders in it. It is quite possible to dislike Bush and Kerry at the same time, incidentally.
