Troubling post.
MEanwhile the states and communities generously opening their arms to the refugees are becoming overwhelmed. The potential for problems from these situations is pretty serious, judging from some of the reports already coming in. Makes no sense.

Oh the irony. Bush was just on TV a few days ago telling the nation, specifically, that if they want to help, send money to the Red Cross. Serious disconnect here, almost laughable:

"The state Homeland Security Department had requested--and continues to request--that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane."
