Is Mr. Brown a "professional", as his experience before taking over FEMA is an Arabian Horse lawyer.

I have few expectations from the individuals heading up Federal Government posts, especially postions that involve crisis management, but I do like to see:

A) the Secretary of State has some experience in Foreign Affairs

B) The Secretary of the Treasury has experience in the financial markets

C) the head of the SEC has worked in the securities industry.

D) The Attorney General be an experiencd attorney.

E) The head of FEMA have, what....experience in disaster recovery, movement of large resources, coordination of interagency actions....logistics support.

Isn't FEMA too important for someone with Mr. Brown's background? This seems one of the positions that require quick, experienced action or it is too, too late. There is plenty of blame to go around, sure, but the Mayor, Governor and parrish leaders are not working 24/7 on Federal Emergency Management as their job descriptions..Mr. Brown is. As citizens, we have a right to expect experience if not competence. Competence would be nice too
