I saw a timeline for Katrina- but it was incomplete. I'll try to find it.

If I see one more timeline about the wonderful things that were done, collected by someone far away from the facts on the ground, I will scream. The only reason I read this one is because you're usually worth reading, and I know you mean well.

I don't care how much money is being spent in Washington DC. The rubber meets the road much further south.

Did you read the stories (multiple stories) about the trucks full of food and water being sent back? The one about the convoy of experienced duck hunters and fishermen with boats, men with plenty of experience in Louisiana waterways, coming in for search and rescue, that were went back? I was collecting things like this for a while but stopped.

The "golden" 72 hours are gone, the people who were going to drown or die of dehydration unless help came, are dead.

Gave money, will give money, will donate services as a lawyer. My brother is in the spare room at my sister's house, and he's a nurse. My uncle has 17 people in his house now.

Fixing up our own spare room in case someone needs to come here.
