I find it fascinating that there is barely any word on this in the media. The story stopped developing or breaking. Half the story comes out in one media source claiming police shot army contractors. Then the story changes to include a small army, who had apparently ambushed army contractors, who were being escorted by police.

Now that brings up a whole other group of questions. What sort of group of eight persons with weapons begins to fire at a convoy of police escorted contractors? What was their intent? What was their mission? Or is this beginning to smell of "Wag the Dog"?

Is this another of the, "they shot our helicopter, so we stopped rescuing drowning people" excuse? We'll know if they suddenly stop rebuilding bridges and repairing levees.

Meanwhile, CNN reporting: a Coast Guard rescue helicopter crashed, apparently by accident. Is this story going to change to include shot fired into the helicopter? Anymore, I don't know what to believe. The people of America are very upset. I just hope they follow through and demand answers to so many difficult questions.
