You may be right, I don't know why though.

Maybe it's like one expects more from the hisps than from the blacks, I don't know.
And, if that's indeed the fact, why is that?

Anyway, I would trust my professor educated in such matters at any time. I doubt, however, that Ted has a similar educational level.

Not really. I had this professor in college who was much more of an expert on Korean history, literature, and language than I am. Should I claim that he has no idea what it means to be Korean-American just because he's white?

As for Ted's comment, I agree with him. Blacks do indeed have it worse than Hispanics. However, I think Ted and I will disagree vehemently when it comes to examining the causes of this problem.


So then does that mean you are like your professor and myself......he claiming to know what its like to be Korean Amer. and me knowing what its like to be black?
