What you are doing Buddy is denying what is fact. The death tax discriminates against the productive members of society. It puts a small amount of revenue into the hands of government and causes people to plan for death taxes instead of the success fo the next generation in the family farm or business. At a minimum the taxes cause a small amount of government revenues to replace an equivalent amount of reckless spending by the suddenly "rich" offspring of the wealthy. As you seem likely to know, government revenues do not stimulate the economy. By the time the spending spree is over, the money from it will have pulsed through the economy several times causing not just the jeweler who received the first round, but her employees, banker, maybe her realtor, as well as convenience stores, gas stations and many others who benefitted from the additional rounds of spending.

The death tax is immoral. Whatever statistics or studies you wish to have before you will agree that abolishing it is good are irrelevant. It is immoral. No taxation without respiration.
